By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions and your use of our website are governed by Australian law. This website and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within Australia and under Australian law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside Australia, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside Australia complies with any applicable non-Australian laws or regulations.
Orders from outside Australia may be liable to local import duty and other taxes. Minimee Babies & Kids has no control over this, and are not liable for any such charges. Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.
Payments Online / Offline
We also accept offline payments by credit card, please contact the store during normal working hours on toll free 1300 701 442.
If you are concerned about placing orders online we also accept orders via email. Simply email email@example.com to let us know what you want, and your method of payment. We will contact you within 24 hours with order confirmation and payment details.
Out of Stock Items / Back-Orders
While we try to keep as many of items in stock as possible, due to supplier availability and the breadth of range that we carry, some items may need to be ordered in. In particular many of the large furniture items need to be "ordered" and can take from 1 to 12 weeks to be delivered. Should this happen, we will be in contact to notify you of this. You will then be given the opportunity to cancel your order, choose an alternate product, or wait for your order. Please note: we will not back-order on sale, discounted, or discontinued items.
Exchanges or incorrect item(s) received
At Minimee Babies & Kids we appreciate that although the standard of our product is exceptional, from time to time a customer may purchase an item that is not the right size, colour, or they just may not like it. If that is the case we encourage you to contact us via email, phone or fax to arrange an exchange. Your satisfaction is important to us.
Contact must be made within 7 days of receipt of your order. Exchanges will happily be given if the item is unused, unworn, with all packaging and labels intact. The item must be in resaleabale condition. An additional delivery fee for this service will be charged and a processing/handling fee of $19 will also be payable. Please note: Sale items are not exchangeable, and all sales are final.
If an item was sent to you that was not the correct style or colour as described on our website to what you ordered, you must make contact with us within 7 days of receiving the item. If our records show that in fact the incorrect item was sent out, we will reimburse you the cost to post it back to us (unused and in its original condition and packaging) and you will have the option to have the correct item sent out to you or you can have a full refund. If you do not contact us within 7 days of delivery, you will be responsible for the cost to return the item back to us for inspection. If we receive the goods and the goods have been used or not in its original condition or packaging, it will be your responsibility to collect the item back at your own cost.
At Minimee Babies & Kids every dispatched item is checked and packaged with care. However we are unable to take responsibility for loss or damage of goods in transit (Insurance is available through Australia Post). Should an item be faulty, we urge the purchaser to contact us via phone, email or fax to discuss. Faulty items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, with labels and packaging intact. Minimee Babies & Kids will give a full refund for faulty items, on approval of fault. Shipping costs will not be included in refund.
Specifications, Colours, Weights and Sizes
We reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice. All sizes and weights given as a guide only and are approximate. Representations of colour are approximate due to the limitations of photographic and calibrations of different output devices. A name given to a product is not necessarily representative of the colour. All goods are subject to availability. If sold out, free offers may be substituted with an item of the same value.
Accessories supplied to co-ordinate with the main product may differ in shade; this is normally caused by the manufacturing process and is not a fault. Wood is a natural product and the grain or shade will vary from piece to piece, manufacturers normally use different grades of wood for items such as cots or cot beds and therefore the stain can appear differently.
Our right to Cancel and refund
In the event of non delivery of any item's we reserve the right to refund the product paid for back the customer. We reserve the right to reject your purchase and will refund any monies paid in doing so.
Minimee endeavours to ensure the accuracy of all prices and content on our website, however in the case of a technical or human error in pricing or content, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the incorrect purchase price to you.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.
3. Postage & Handling
Minimee Babies & Kids ships all non furniture products via Registered Australia Post, and the cost is automatically calculated for you, which is dependant on the weight and size of the parcel. Delivery usually takes place within 2-7 working days. We are not responsible for any delays in delivery on the items once they have left the store, however we will do our best to locate the items. Please note, Furniture and Pram items are not included in any "Free postage" promotions unless stated in the heading of the product.
4. Delivery and Delivery Time
The Minimee Babies & Kids website does not deliver cots, or furniture outside Australia.
Worldwide (Not Furniture)
Minimee Babies & Kids delivers to New Zealand using the services of Australia Post.
Rest of the World
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - We would love to send you our products, so we will get back to you with a shipping price.
Packaging and recycling
Please be aware that at times, we package multiple items in the one box and that box may be marked with a different brand logo to that item you had purchased. That is because we would like to do our part in minimising wastage and have a recycle usable boxes and paper policy. Please check that all items are inside the box at the time of delivery and if anything is missing please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of parcel. We have a packaging confirmation slip that we can refer to.
Insurance and Lost or Damaged in transit items
Minimee offer insurance on every single item in our webstore and the costs are provided at the checkout as delivery fee with Transitcover. Choosing to insure your order covers you for any damage or loss that may occur during transit. For all insurance claims, you are required to contact us and/or provide images of any damaged goods and a description of the damage within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We will then contact you to discuss the next steps to rectify the issue. If you do not choose to take Transit cover then while we will try to help you by lodging an investigation on your behalf with the carrier, we must wait until the investigation is finalised before anything can be done on your order. Please note that if we do lodge an investigation it can take approx 2-3 weeks to finalise and Minimee are not responsible for compensation of any sort due to loss of orders or damaged items for goods that are not insured.
Wrong Delivery Address Inputted, Authority to Leave and Attempted delivery
If you provide us with an incorrect delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, Minimee Babies & Kids cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result. If you have requested an authority to leave and your parcel is stolen, Minimee cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. If you are unsure if your delivery address is safe, we recommend to not request an authority to leave. If your order was attempted to be delivered, you are responsible for making necessary arrangements with the delivery Carrier to pickup your item from the relevant Australia Post off office or Courier depot (whichever is relevant). If the Post Office/Courier returns your parcel to Minimee due to incorrect address input or failure to collect your item(s) from the post office/courier, extra delivery charges apply to have the item re-delivered to you and there are no refunds on postage charges previously paid.

5. Web prices in store
To receive web prices in Minimee physical stores at Camperdown or Crows Nest, you must mention the web price otherwise store prices must be paid

Privacy and Security Policy
1. Security Policy
When purchasing from Minimee Babies & Kids, your financial details are passed through our secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.
In order to fulfil an order you may place via our website, it is necessary for us to collect certain information from you. The type of customer information we ask for includes name and address for billing and delivery purposes, day phone number, email address, and product preferences.
Minimee Babies & Kids takes seriously the issue of our customer's privacy, and has taken the appropriate measures to ensure with confidence that any information given to us by our customers is protected. We recognise the sensitivity of your personal information and will never share your details with any other organisation.
Minimee Babies & Kids has a Membership program, which is free to join. We collect and store customer membership information for the following reasons:
- To ease the process of ordering. Keeping your information on record means you will not be required to re-enter this information next time you shop, although you will be able to update it.
- To personalise and customise your shopping experience. Information volunteered via our free membership program allows us to offer a wish list facility, to track your order history, and to track your current order status. We also collect information on areas of interests, to be used in planned email newsletters tailored to your interests.
We will only communicate with you directly if you grant us permission to do so. By entering the Minimee Competition, you automatically provide us with the permission to communicate with you for the duration of the promotion. Unsubscribe options are provided throughout.
We will not disclose any of your personal information to any third parties without your explicit permission. With regards to information collection and use, Minimee is the owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Minimee takes every precaution to protect users' information. User's information is protected online by encryption and firewall software. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.
Minimee conduct routine security checks on selected orders. If a security check is conducted on your order you will be asked to provide the name of your financial institution and country of origin of your credit card. We will also conduct a refund of an amount bewteen $0.01 and $10 on your order and you will be required to check your credit card statement and supply us with the exact amount that was refunded on your card - please note there may be a few days before that refund appears on your card. If you are unable to provide these three points, we will cancel the order and refund the card. This is to avoid fraudulent online activity and charges made to stolen credit cards. Alternatively, you can select wither one of the two options below:
Minimee Security Check
1. Provide us a one page document (email or fax) that includes a copy of the credit card front and back used (showing last 4 digits), the credit card owner's drivers licence and signed with a message saying total transaction amount $xx.xx has been approved
2. We can charge an amount between 0.01 - $10 onto your credit card (will appear on your account immediately) and you can send us an email confirming the amount charged and message saying you approve the total amount of your order. We will then refund the security check amount back onto your credit card.
Minimee have had to impose these Security Checks due to the increase in online fraudulent activity and we thank you for your understanding. We wish the world was full of honest people !
